2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, But of power, love,
and self-discipline.

Scripture: 1 Samuel 14 and 15
Today’s fear that we are going to confront in the fear of running out, the fear
of not measuring up, the fear of coming up short.

1 Samuel 15:-7…God gave a command…and Saul did it…well sort of…
1 Samuel 15:9…Saul kept the good stuff which was against God’s order.
*Why did he do this?  Because in Saul’s world, there’s not enough

Jonathan’ world…
1 Samuel 14:6…”Let’s go across to the outpost of those pagans”, Jonathan said
to his armor bearer. “Perhaps the LORD will help us, for nothing can hinder the
LORD. He can win a battle whether he has many warriors or only a few!’

*Jonathan is saying, “I’m sick of waiting for everything to be perfect before I go
and do something.”

Questions to ponder
Does everything have to be just lined up perfectly before you do anything?

Summary
When you have your life out of abundance you become a risk taker and exciting
things happen.
